PANDORA - BAD NEWS.....

Just wanted to let you all know that we got bad news on Pandora yesterday. Her left eye (the brown one) swelled and got really hazy on Friday. She has allergies that flare up now and then so we started treating it with eye wash and benadryl as always. Well Friday night it swelled so we took her to the vet. She has glaucoma and they can not get the pressure down. Normal pressure is considered high at 20, her's is 86. She has lost all sight in that eye and we will more than likely have to have it injected so that it stops producing fluids or completely have the eye removed. We are weighing our options currently. If anyone has had a dog with this issue please weigh in.

URGENT! Our Vallhund friends had their van stolen in WICHITA FALLS, TX this morning at 9am, with their 7 dogs in it. THey were on their way to the SV specialty in Flagstaff. GEORGE - YOU WILL BE MISSED!!

George was one of those small critters that sometimes come along with rescues from a puppy mill. He came with two other small companions ( a Rat, Buster Brown and a Guinea Pig, Coco Puff). He was Mom's pet for just over 6 months.

We have no idea how old he was, but we all loved George. The only time he ever offered to bite was when he had to have a bath. He was a lovable boy when he was sleepy or was just waking up.

He passed away on April 30th. Mom went down stairs to say "Good morning" to her small critters and found him. So George, Mom will miss you greatly and I will miss you a bit also.

Creature Comforts

So I know that I do not post often, but I would like all of you to know that I have decided to try to pursue my passion! I am trying to start my photography career in our area. I know that you may not live near enough to me for this to matter for you or your animals, but please pass on this information to others. I am willing to travel as long as it's not a great distance and hope to be visiting some people in the Missouri area sometime this year.
